Update

Hey folks, let me start with an update of how things are going.

Firstly, as I mentioned I donated blood for the first time last weekend and generally speaking I cannot understand where the fear comes in to something that is so simple!
From what I saw nearly everybody was relatively unaffected and some went skipping out the door afterwards!

I on the other hand, I donated blood, started having a drink in the recovery area then passed out, so if anyone wants to imagine me on a recovery bed with my legs in the air feel free to have a laugh at it, god knows I was for some reason giggling!
Though I have to admit I was well looked after and once I could get back up have not had a single problem since.

As you hear they are constantly in need of bloody donors and for what its worth it costs very little of your time and offers a world of good to many people who need it, so its just a thought for anyone!
